Hawkeyes Overpower Gophers In Iowa City

We went to our first gymnastics meet on Friday. We thought it would be good for Lorili to see what "big girl" gymnastics is all about. She (as well as the rest of us) was quite impressed to see how high they jump and flip and twist. We were lucky enough to run into some friends while there, which added to the fun. I was selected to do the ball drop during "half-time." It was quite an impossible task: basically I had to drop a ball from three stories up into a bucket that was only 1 foot wide. If I got one of three balls in I would win $100! Sounds easy enough right!?! Well, apparently no one has ever made it, so when all three balls missed completely I didn't feel too bad! I did get an Iowa shirt and a free event ticket for trying! After the meet the Lady Hawks signed a poster and posed for the camera. Overall, a very fun family night!

That sounds really fun. I'd like to go to a meet. Austin and Landon love taking gymnastics. I think they would appreciate watching some men's gymnastics more, though. Funny that you saw Whitneys there. By the way - you are the luckiest person. You always win stuff! How do you do it? I've never won anything like that.
